Please ignore my profile picture; she’s a work in progress.
Anyway, this blog post is a long time coming. Honestly, every upcoming blog post is a long time coming. I’ve been really busy with managing work while preparing to go back to school (*insert sarcastic “yippee”*) and looking out for my family.
This post is going to be on the briefer side of things (I don’t even know if that makes sense).
I just want to celebrate reaching two hundred Instagram followers. I’m not usually a quantity of followers person, but this is exciting to me, especially since I consistently lose followers (on all platforms).
People are constantly pointing out how my Instagram doesn’t have a theme and isn’t coherent and doesn’t match what a blogger’s Instagram should look like (what does a blogger’s Instagram look like?) , but I don’t really care. Essentially, Instagram is my second camera roll; most of what I upload on there gets deleted from my phone’s camera roll, but I still have it on my Instagram page/account/whatever you call it (hence why I have almost 500 posts).
Thank you to everyone who follows me on Instagram and reads my really bad captions. To some, two hundred is barely scratching the surface because it’s not two thousand or two million. To me, two hundred is more than some small towns in the US, which blows my mind and makes having that many people follow me more surreal… even if most of them are people from high school.
Again, from the bottom of my heart, I sincerely say thank you.
