If this is your first time on this blog or you don’t know who the writer of this blog is, hi; my name is Jamilah, and I am a black woman. Or African-American woman. Or a black queen. You know, there are a lot of (positive) terms to describe the beautiful women like me, but I prefer the term “black queen.”
I love my melanin, and I look up to other women who look like me. For this episode of Simply Special, I just wanted to (positively) talk about my black queens.
