A new year. A new decade.
Let’s see how long it takes before I embarrass every bone in my body.
I definitely put my foot in my mouth at work tonight. Are we surprised? No.
A customer asked me about saving a certain amount of money, and I told him he had to open a credit card in order to do it. Then I pretty much said getting a one time discount wasn’t worth opening a credit card (probably shouldn’t have said that since I work for the company but oh well). While this conversation was happening, his husband went to go get his wallet. When his husband came back with his wallet, he payed with a credit card from the company I work for. The guy I conversed with and I made really weird eye contact after that, and his husband was completely oblivious.
Just had the first cry of 2020, which was very unexciting. I’m honestly just proud that I made it the first twelve days without shedding a tear.
Nothing embarrassing happened today, but it was such a good day that I had to document it, at least the happy moments.
My class didn’t start until 11 am, and the class was amazing. The teacher brought cupcakes and cake pops, including some for the gluten free student; she also repeatedly said the class would be easy, and I appreciate easy classes.
In my night class, there are only five people, and we’re all girls. I met someone new while I was waiting for the class to start. I love the teacher; he has my sense of humor, and I love it. I think he’s going to be one of my favorite teachers (the cake pop teacher being the other one).
Tonight I went to a floor meeting and reconnected with my shero, the girl who got the giant bug out of my room.
I accidentally added a picture to my Snapchat story that I meant to save. I know this is such a first world problem, but don’t you hate when that happens? I was going to take it down, but then I saw that fifteen people have already seen it. This is currently me:
