Results: A Month of MadFit Workouts

In the past, I’ve done two Chloe Ting workout programs, which were honestly great for my body and mentality.

For the entire month of July, I consistently did MadFit workouts (by Maddie Lymburner). For the rest of 2020, I have challenged myself to complete monthly fitness challenges (I assign myself) to discover other workouts and wellness gurus.

Before you watch the below (brief) video of my journey to completing all of her workouts, I just want to remind you that I’m not someone who receives immediate results. I’m slow moving when it comes to transforming my body, but I still give her all the love she deserves.

**Below the video, there is a playlist of all the workouts I did (in addition to workouts I’ve added after completing the challenge) and a chart of when everything was completed.

As I stated in the video, here is the playlist I made of all the MadFit workouts I did, as well as some new ones I’ve added since completing the challenge.

To go with the playlist of workouts, here is a chart of when I did all the workouts, things that influenced when I worked out (like work), and my designated rest days. All of the aforementioned, plus my diet, influenced my results.

(Let me know if you can’t read my handwriting)

Maddie Lymburner’s workouts kick your butt in the most subtle way possible. There weren’t any mountain climbers (unlike with Chloe Ting), which I really appreciated. Yet I could still feel my abs and obliques being engaged.

If I could do anything different, I would do more workouts on the days I worked out. I didn’t want to push myself too hard, but I also wanted to make sure I felt the burn. Regardless, I am proud of myself for efficiently finishing the challenge and everything I learned; although, I will say, my body was incredibly exhausted during the last week, and I know I didn’t give it my best effort.

No matter what, this was a great start to my mini monthly fitness challenge series.

Next up, I’m going to be doing an entire month of Just Dance in August; I don’t know what kind of results I’m expecting from the next challenge, but I’m hoping to see a slight change in my body.

I hope you’re taking care of yourself and your health.
Be you. Be true.
