Grind.
I am going to be grinding my buttox off.
Wait… I’m not talking about the nasty grind on each other stuff.
I’m also not talking about grinding my teeth (which I apparently do in the middle of the night when I’m in the depths of the deepest sleep and definitely need to stop).
I want to grind in terms of working the hardest I ever have while also avoiding burn out. Now that I’m on the right track to pursuing a career (or two) in things I love. There are several areas in my life where I plan on working a lot harder than I did in 2025. I spent a good portion of the year working hard, but I was more so trying to figure everything out and getting back on my feet.
This is the year of moving forward, and in order to move forward in my pursuits and dreams, I need to work my tushy off (in a very healthy way).
I am doing everything I can this year to ensure I graduate with my master’s degree in 2027. This means I am taking an extra class in the spring and fall than what is recommended, and I am taking two summer closes. I promise, I will have little trips and breaks in between, but I am locked in on my 2027 goals. In order to reach those longer term goals, I must work hard in this year.
To avoid burn out, I will do a bit better balancing my time between my schoolwork and three jobs. At this current moment, I am working to establish a loose routine to ensure I prioritize taking care of myself, which will come in handy when school starts back in roughly two weeks.
On top of the necessary work to move forward in my librarianship career and finally becoming financially stable, I somehow really want to make moves with getting my JRD side hustle off the ground. I’m not going to go into too much detail about, just going to let the results speak for themselves.
I’ve had many ideas and starts, and it’s time to bring it all to fruition. In order to do that, I need to put my head down and freaking grind.
