Lifestyle

This is all about food, fashion, media, and everything else I find fun! I think 8-year-old me knew I was destined to be a blogger because I fell in love with Food Network and fashion design in the third grade. Like, I imagined owning my own clothing business and giving out amazing appetizers when customers entered the store. Over the years, those interests have only amplified, and now I am virtually able to share everything I love about food and fashion. With the advancement of technology came the heavy interest in music, YouTube, TV, and anything media related. On this page, you get it all!

FOOD

After years upon years of writing down different recipes and watching hours of Food Network, I’d like to think I know a little something about food. This is where I get to share my recipes and all things food related.

My Three Go-to College Dining Hall Meals
With the school semester winding down and me running out of food, I have been going to my university’s dining hall a lot more. These are my three go-to meals.

Egg-cellent Eggs
This is a quick and easy recipe for creating some spectacular eggs, or as I liked to call them, egg-cellent.

Five Ingredient French Toast
This is my very first recipe I’m sharing on the Internet, and I am so excited. This is a quick guide to creating amazing French toast with only five ingredients.

STYLE

Anything and everything that has to do with clothes and style is what I love. Fashion is something I’ve always been passionate about, and I love sharing my love for it.

5 Glasses, 5 Outfits
After over a year of having glasses without a bottom frame (bad decision, I know), I am more than ready to get new eyeglasses. I decided to try out Warby Parker; I tried on five different pairs of glasses, and I created an outfit to go with each pair.

The Best of the Met: 2019
On May 6, 2019, we were all blessed with the annual Met Gala. This year’s theme was “Camp: Notes on Fashion”. These are my favorite looks from the night.

Tips for Shopping on SheIn
Over the years of frequently shopping at the online retailer SheIn, I’ve learned a few things and figured I’d share my tips with you.

AUDIO ENTERTAINMENT

Anyone and everyone would agree that I have a weird taste in music, but that doesn’t stop me from jamming out like nobody’s watching. Music has helped me in various ways, just like podcasts give me the motivation to get my life together. Audio entertainment is just as entertaining as visual entertainment.

I Survived My Second Year of College
My second year of college was beyond crazy for various reasons. I decided to do a recap of some of the “highlights” using song.

I Am an Empress
One of the best albums I’ve listened to this year is Empress by Ray BLK, a 29-minute album all about self-love that I couldn’t resist doing a review about.

New Songs I Discovered Thanks to Bonnaroo
Last week, Bonnaroo released their 2019 lineup, and thanks to that lineup, I discovered new songs I now jam to all the time.

VISUAL ENTERTAINMENT

I am an avid movie and television watcher. I get so invested in the actors, characters, plots, execution, etc.; there’s so much to dissect about this kind of entertainment. Plus, I am one of those gen z-ers who could spend hours watching YouTube videos and spiral to the point of watching a panda and a dog cuddle. I love all of it.

Netflix’s ‘The Umbrella Academy’ – Review
Mollie’s Blog is a new blog I’ve followed recently, and I have reread her review of The Umbrella Academy a solid five times. I felt like I needed to share it, so I reblogged it. Check Molly out.

Something New: Movie Review
I just recently watched a movie called Something New, and I had to do a review of it.

Reviews of Every Movie I Watched and Every Album I Listened to
The final summer related blog post (at least for 2018). Another thing I did this summer was listen to a lot of music and watch a lot of movies, so I figured I do a brief review of them all.

LITERATURE

Speaking of gen z-ers, I am one of the rare ones who still reads actual books (although I do dabble in the e-book and fanfic world as well). I figured if I take the time to read them, I should write about them too. Along with writing about other books, I also write some of my own short stories, and sharing them brings me great joy.

Holmesy, I Love You
After spending a month dwelling on the amazingness that is this book, I finally did a book review of Turtles All the Way Down by John Green.

How to Blog like a Boss
The Art of Blogging originally posted this article, and I just had to share it. As soon as I read “Break free from social conditioning,” I knew this was advice that any blogger could benefit from and felt the need to share it.

The Thing About Maggy
This is a short story about a horrible friendship with a girl named Maggy.

THE WORLD

I love being spontaneous and going on adventures, whether it be a midnight trip to the local Walmart or semi-randomly deciding to take a road trip to Myrtle Beach for spring break. When I get the time to explore and capture unique memories, I enjoy every moment of it.

My First Time at High Point
On April 8th, I had to go to the High Point Furniture Market for a class field trip, and this is how it all went down. Spoiler alert: it was amazing.

My Best Friend Drove 4 Hours to Visit Me
For the latter half of her spring break, my best friend drove four hours to visit me at my university. It meant the world to me, so I documented it.

A Trip to the ATL
Upon my return to Nashville for winter break, my friend and I decided to take a quick trip to Atlanta.
